Jonah
The dad
Software engineer by day, homesteader by night. His career pays the bills right now but his dream is to live off the land full time. He enjoys solving problems and working with his hands. On weekends you'll find him building, repairing or improving anything he can squeeze into the few hours he has available.
Trish
The mom
Wife, Mother, Teacher, Homemaker, Homesteader; just a few of the many titles she holds. Trisha is the glue that keeps us all together. She is a talented singer a hard worker and can brighten the darkest day with her energetic personality. Homesteading was never in her plans growing up but she has developed a passion for it; which began with raising chickens in her suburban home years ago. A big part of that passion has become our goats.
Emma
Age 15
You'll most often see Emma with a book in her hand, or a script. She loves to act and has participated in four musicals. She attends public school, some of her favorite subjects include; English, Spanish and Theater Arts. She takes care of feeding and watering the goats; which she somewhat enjoys!
Missy
Age 12
Missy is a fun loving artistic soul! When she's bored you can see her doodling on her hand or a piece of paper. She enjoys playing Minecraft and almost anything else with her siblings. She also likes watching movies or playing cards and board games with the family.
She has a big heart and is always the first to have way too much fun! Her farm chores are the care and feeding of the chickens and turkeys.
Sam
The boy (age 9)
To be the only boy between his sisters this boy is built tough. He takes excellent care of his rabbits and loves to snuggle them anytime he can he can catch one. He loves creating with Lego's, building on Minecraft and running around in frigid temperatures. He certainly is a shy one but at times you can catch a peak of his silly side. He is also showing some natural talent in the martial arts.
Sarah
Age 5
She may be the smallest member of the family but she definatly has the biggest personality. She loves to sing and dance to her favorite songs, play with her dolls and dress up as a princess. Her farm chore is taking care of the dog Sophie. (she's also got dad wrapped around her little finger!)
